handsome guys???

you all probably think that i'm a very serious, no-nonsense person. but i tell straight to your face that I'm indeed not!!! haha!!!

Why? You ask...

Last Sunday, I went to the wet market in Lido with my mom to buy pork meat. When she was selecting some veggies, I looked around, bored obviously... then i hear from the vegetable stall beside:

Girl: (pointing at a bunch of Sawi) How much is this lot?

Grocer: $ bla bla... (forgot the amount)

Girl: Are they good one? No insect bites?

Grocer: Missie, you look at me so "liang zai" (handsome), of course my Sawi all beautiful like me...

Jiaming: (walk closer and said with audible voice) Oh my god! Give me a break...

And the grocer just stared at me. haha, i then walk away! the girl also laughed. You know how the grocer looks like? A 40++ years old uncle with half balding hair, with the "average uncle" look... yuck!!! pass me the sick bucket!!!

P.S. My fellow readers, next time if i go to Lido, i'll take a photo of the bunk face with my camera phone and have a vote poll... see if any of you girls are interested... i know i'm not :P

the terror of badminton

haha...

it's been weeks since i exercise, like a month... dangerously unhealthy... but today i did go to Stadium to exercise. actually i didn't feel like exercise at all. haha... but my vegetarian friend, Charlene, said she wants to go, so i sort of go to accompany her. i pull myself together to find my sport shoes and was choosing what to wear when she told me she is not going... haiz...

anyway, nelson drove me there and hell no, it started raining heavily. as you all probably know, the basketball court in Stadium Likas is an outdoor one. it was really raining cats and dogs. i tag along and watch nelson went to pay and book his badminton court at the counter. omg, the counter girl in charge was super slooooowwww...

after dropping my sport bag, i grabbed my basketball and went outside to basketball court. nelson kept saying that it will rain and i can't play anyway. he asked me to play badminton with them instead. phew! badminton and me never share the same middle name. so in the end nelson played his little badminton game with daddy tie. haha!!! score one!
dribble, dribble, dribble, stop, shoot, BOIINNNGGGG!!! *hit both the rim and board but never went inside the rim*
what ever happened to my free throw???!!!
and would you believe the wind was so horribly strong? my basketball was kept blown off course. a free throw seemed amazingly to make. not to mention 3 points. after 15 minutes, i couldn't play anymore... i was drenched wet and my hair resembled the famous plant icon in Tanjung Aru...

i went back to play badminton with the boys in the end, much to nelson's delight. curses!!! stupid rain!!! why do you have to rain today? when i wan to exercise? sob...

when i went back, nelson "persuaded" me to play badminton with him. i gave up and grabbed the badminton racquet. have you ever see Tracy McGrady (basketball superstar) playing badminton? well, work your grey matter and imagine i'm doing that.
evil nelson kept "accidentally" hit the shuttlecock here and there to make me run around the court. he said i should move around more to exercise. haha, guess what nelson! dream on! my feet were as firmly glued to where i stand. i swear that i heard my collar bone joints crack a few times. i'm hopelessly hopeless in badminton.

next, daddy tie taught me how to smash the shuttlecock. he said it's like smashing fly. easy peasy! so i tried... you're kidding! i can't smash anything! no wonder there's so many flies near my house!!! haha, maybe i should hire the boys to get rid of them on behalf of me. hehe...

in the end i spent almost an hour watching nelson, daddy tie, jeremy and arthur play their badminton. they all buzzed here and there like bumble bees in a hurry to finish nectar collecting. arthur was really amazing with his smashing. jeremy ran around to hit the shuttlecock. how i want to ask him to take it easy... haiz so bored... badminton, badminton, i used to be very good in badminton, why you betray me and injure my hand? haiz...

the craps i wrote for my english essay

do you guys know what essay we have to write for our English examination a few hours ago?

take a wild guess...

you are a psychic if you know that we have to write about the good and bad about artificial fertilisation, particularly designer babies. and it just suddenly give me a jolt when i realise that i had just watched a documentary about the world's first test-tube baby the day before!!! what a surprise!!! talk about ESP (extra-sensory perception)...

now i dunno about you guys, but i do have a bit of ESP going on in my body. when i had dreams about people in agony, they often do happen. before i join sttss, i dreamed of going to the old pitch-black toilet of sttss. the one before the five star toilet ( i seriously doubt that) was built on. i hope not everything is true though. i had a dream before that i will die of oxygen starvation in an elevator at a 200++ ( i dun remember)th floor at a building in a future. not a fancy way to join the black parade in that way!!! that's why i have altophobia. haha...

*Altophobia is also known as:
The fear of heights
Afraid of high altitudes*

anyway, i think that designing your own babies is not a very encouraging thing to do. Many people nowadays "shop" for their offspring's' traits. where is our world heading????? people buy the desirable traits of their heir is so immoral and unjust.

what the heck is going on? what will happen if all the would-be parents buy their children's' physical characteristics and intellect. say you want your child to have blue eyes and blonde hair, you just drop the green notes on the counter and hey presto, you got one blue-eyed, blonde-hair child! but one day, when your child stand six feet tall, they will ask why they don't look like their so called "biological parents" and what do you have to say? quite an awkward situation if you ask me.

not to mention if every couple buy the same physical characteristics for their offsprings, Oh My God!!! everyone you see in the street looks the same!!! what a nightmare!!! no more hot guys 'coz they all look the same. haha!!! fancy that!!!

do you want to design your own baby if you happen to be infertile? my choice is NO WAY!!! i think i will adopt one instead...

I'm a punk/rock fan!!!

yep, I'm proud to be a punk rock fan!!! to me, life without rock music is a boring one. this special type of music is like chocolate strawberry to me. yum yum!!!

what is so fascinating about rock music? i dun know. the beats? the electric guitar solo? the tempo? the lyrics? rock music is nothing without electric guitars screeching the whole track. some rock music does not suits my taste though. i mean who would listen to what crap the beastie boys and radio head are playing?

i remember when i first listen to rock music, holy cow, what is this?!! it gives me migraines all the time! before the track even finish, I'm off to the nearest pharmacy store for aspirin!!! then it hits me. the key to enjoy rock music is to feel the flow. feel the lead singer shout and scream. feel the strumming of electric guitars and the bass-dropping bass! dun fight it! just feel it... FYI, the first rock/punk album that i purchased is Green Day's American Idiot. I salute these guys for their excellent workmanship and effort! Go and buy the album yourself, listen and you'll understand what i mean. letterbomb, st. jimmy, American idiot, whatshername*...

of course i must have a list of bands that i adore. i like Good Charlotte. their " keep your hands off my girl" is nothing but amazing!!! if you listen to Good Charlotte and my chemical romance, you'll realise that Good Charlotte songs are more likely to stay in your playlists. i dun know why. of course, my chemical romance is equally amazing. "Welcome to the Black Parade" never fails to make me feel sad and heart-throb after listening. it makes you realise no matter how filthy rich you are or how smart you are, you'll join the black parade anyways, when the time has come.

guys, I'm so sad that the Click Five has changed their lead singer... Kyle Patrick is no match for Eric's amazing vocal. still i like them! their new school power pop musics fascinates that music can be "played" in anyway you please. but it seems they alter their music genre a bit. it's more rock now. how about Simple Plan? I don't know why their new song: " When I'm Gone" is not that tempting. The MV is nice but i dun know. It seems boring after you listen like whatt, 20 times per day? * frown*

have you ever listen to boys like girls " the great escape"? it's very nice!!! *clap clap* i like the idea of great escape. it will fit like a jigsaw puzzle when i graduate from IS! can't wait!!!

ladies and gentlemen, let me intro a new genre of music that might seem unfamiliar to y'all: alternative jazz. it's not bad you know. you got the jazz fused with rock elements. listen to Disp Rs by B quartet, you'll understand. not bad for these Singaporean to come up with something like this to sooth your sensations after studying at school the whole day! i really enjoy every bits of it! oh ya, did i mention that I'm a jazz fan too? Fourplay, dave coz, eric darken, kenny G... they're marvellous! i have a dream you know, to compose my own jazz and alternative jazz music someday. haha...
