When The Books Piled Up...

The closer the exam date draws, the more holiday fantasies plug through mind. That's how my exam system works anyhow. How I wish I don't have to read my book right now. It's so friggin' unexciting. Boo!

Anyway I have so many things in my mind right now. For the sake of winter holiday. Most of my flatmates are leaving. First of all, I would like to trim my fringe. It's ridiculously long. Secondly, I would like to hang out with my mates. Board games, cooking, baking, hanging by the pool, movies, outing... bla bla bla. Oh ya, I'll be meeting some of my primary school buddies. Can't wait! Wonder how they look like after like more than 6 years? Meet some new friends. Going to Harbour Town and hopefully zoo. And of course clubbing, pubbing, dancing (when my dear flatmates return)... Strictly no drinking this time. How eventful they all sound...

If all goes well, I might be camping in Fitzgerald Cape River for my environment science association thing. Imagine camping in the winter for 9-10 days for the sake of surveying ground parrot. I hope they read my mail I sent on Thursday.

OK, fantasies over. Time to study. Sigh...

And You Left...

Wondering how you are right now. 3 weeks you're gonna leave me. I have to sit for my exam with all these overwhelming emotions going through me. How I wish you're right here, right now. My talking companion.

I wish you gave me a hug yesterday before you left. When you closed the door behind you, I felt like crying. Why you didn't hug me like you always do when you're drunk? When I walked past your room this morning, I felt very sad 'coz I know its occupant is far away from me. The sound of your empty room. The lingering absence of yours in the flat.

There's so many things we haven't talk about. Things about me, stuffs in your life. Do you think when you come back, we can spend an afternoon talking nonsense? I would like to go clubbing with you and the whole lot again 'coz I know I'm always safe in your hands. I enjoyed being the protected one among you guys. The difficult decision you made for me on my first club alcohol drink. The silly dance routine you and Patricia tried to teach me. Miss those moments.

I regret of throwing a tantrum on you the other night. For the most silly little reasons. Probably that's why you avoided me the next day and didn't tell me you're leaving the country the next 12 hours. I'm sorry.

You wrote a long list of free stuffs you're giving away. How I wanted to tear the paper that you were hastily writing. You glared at me and asked me to finish your tomatoes, potatoes, spinach and smoked salmon. I don't want any of those. Eating your food will just make me feel sad 'coz you're not around for 3 long weeks. When you texted me before your flight to wash your rice bowl, I almost went into watermarks mode again.

Oh great, I'm beginning to miss you. Hope you have fun in S'pore =)

The Aftermath

Surprise! Basophils dropped by today and sent their greetings. Engaging enemies inside the country. Morphology of itchiness. Tinges of passion pink. Nil chalked on the scoreboard, prior to the war. Why do I get the jittery sinking feeling?

Rolls after rolls of snare drums echoes with the footsteps of a marching parade rang through, with what feels like increasing number of infantry as time progressed. Surges of warm blood flush through and through. Insomniac souls at the peak of their riot careers.

Was that the hullabaloo of catapults ramping through my heart? Shut that bloody hell noise! Perish these enemies forever from the castle ground! Feel like suicide. Panicky hallucinations. Anaphylactic shocks. Asphyxiating in the commotion. Classic underdog syndrome. Oh no! Is it contagious?

The direct repercussion of undersizing your enemy? False delusion always kills. Battleground 101. Heartbeat leap to 137, thought I was a goner.

Vok Triple Sec

Today's grocery shopping ended up with something surprise... A bottle of vodka liquor from Thirsty Camel.

This is a last resort... I just can't take insomnia anymore! I've been sleeping at 4am or 5am since Wednesday. The health toll is just devastating. I know it's silly but I can feel my brain fluid is running high and dry as if it has been immersed in a hypertonic solution for 5 days... Poor brain. Probably the region is superbly high in blood concentration and drastically low in fluids.
Thanks a lot, insomnia. You really made my week. Demoralize my mood throughout the whole week. Disrupt my study break. Need something to intoxicate my hyperactive mind and reap some well-needed sleep.

500ml of 20% Vok Triple Sec. Distinct orange flavour. Don't really like orange. Oh well... Have to finish it... But how long does it take? Drank like 80 ml before dinner (is that equivalent to one shot?), yet after closing my eyes for 20 minutes, I still can't sleep.

Pheobe, you're gonna have a go at me for unnecessarily drawing my life at stakes. I could die of anaphylactic shock but I don't give a damn anymore. I just wanna some quality sleep... It's something difficult for me. To get a quality sleep.
Cheers.

Crazy Weather

Oh no! It's almost the end of May! June = winter + rainy days!!!

I was typing my assignment on Saturday night. When I glanced at the clock, I had such a shock... And to think it's at the window slit inside my room, God knows how the condition outside was. It's not really that chillingly cold. I would just feel a bit reluctant to wash my hands. Toilet breaks are cut short 'coz my room was warmer.

12pm (noon) is like friggin' hot. I must take off my jacket or risk the baking of walking under the sun. Like just now, I went to my early 8.30 am tutorial. A lot of effort was used to make myself wake up :P It was cold but I was late so I didn't grab my windbreaker in the haste.

At 10p.m., I went to Bullcreek Shopping Center for grocery shopping. Mondays are my shopping spree routine. I brought along my jacket as the supermarket has artifical cooling system (air-con). Then I went to Hungry Jacks (equivalent to Burger King in KK) for lunch. The next thing I know I HAD TO take my jacket off 'coz it was so warm. The weather here is so odd. Baking hot in noon, chilly at night. So I'm constantly exposed to two weather extremities.

The weather on Saturday night. It was 12.5 degree Celsius when I went to bed.

Need to go to my last Env Sci lab now. Bb..

Metropolis

I was supposed to have dinner and tour Fremantle Prison with some of my high school friends last night. Due to certain reasons, I didn't go with them.

When I reached back home from Freo, my mates invited me to go clubbing in Freo at 11 pm. Yeah sure! Why not? Never been to a club before...

So we went to Metropolis at around 12 am.

Reasons why clubbing is fun for me:
1. Crazy rave disco lights! Live DJ music. Loud music.
- Love it lots.

2. Lots of colourful alcoholic drinks!
- Had 2 cranberry vodka.

3. Wild crowd.
- They danced and swung into beat all the time. Non-stop.

4. Numerous photo sessions with random guys.
- They just walked up and asked to take photos with me and my friends. An Aussie guy with white shirt from one group took individuals with me as well. Not bad...

5. Dance around with my mates.
- Got my dancing lessons from them.

6. My mates are very protective of me, so I don't have to worry.
- They dragged me away without second thoughts if they assessed a random guy possessed a threat to me.
- I'm always in safe hands :)

All in all, a fun night but maybe the club is not so nice. When you're in different country, you need to experience the culture a bit, or don't bother coming to the country.

I don't have camera, so no photos. But I think my friend did. I'll ask :)

Fortnight Update

Here are some updates:

1. Tomorrow will be my 2nd last chemistry prac.

That means it's the end of week 13.

Experiment 8: Separation of a mixture using solvent extraction.
Stain due to accidental spillage of silver nitrate on my lab manual...

2. Max level in Restaurant City.

Ingredients I don't need: beans, sweetcorn, bacon, egg, leek, milk, pumpkin, butter, chicken, chilli, lamb, mango, pepperoni, sausage, sugar, tofu, beef, chocolate.

Ingredients I want: lemon, flour, tomato, bread, basil, kiwi, apple, strawberry, banana.

Update as shown in my Facebook.3. Seasons changing.

Now it's almost the end of autumn.
Day time temperaure is around 20-22 degree Celsius. Night time is 18 degree Celsius. Right now it's 17 degree Celsius. I still wear my shorts to sleep though...

Some leaves on the tree in my uni begin to turn red. E.g. maple leaves outside the Education & Humanities building. I walked past the building this morning and noticed the significant change in leaf colour. It was green in summer and now it's red.

Summer seems so far away now...

4. I miss the owner of this car...

Oh yeah, you ran away again last night and didn't reply my message... Sigh...I try to find Risk! but I still haven't found it. Maybe will execute an all-out board game hunting after exam in the city.

5. Not last and not the least, tomorrow will be the debut of Green Day's new album: 21st Century Breakdown. Finally! And about time too! Must get myself a copy!!! Can't wait!

6. Exam in 2- 3 weeks time. Oh my god!!!

Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock, You're Running Out Of Time.....

Oh no! Exam is approaching closer and closer. Doomed!

Went to copy my exam timetable on the notice board outside of the library on Tuesday.

4/6 Life and the Universe
5/6 Environmental Biology
9/6 Chemical Principles
10/6 Introduction to Environmental Science

Now it's the time to start to panic!!!!! How much did I learn in this semester? I wish I have used my time more wisely. Wish I didn't play games too much sometimes... Another not so good situation :(

Sometimes I want to listen to the Lectopia to catch up with some lectures (coz i daydreamed in the boring lecture occasionally. Trust me, some of the people escaped from the lectures) and rewrite some of the incomplete notes. But there's some technical problem with the slides and some of the lecture recordings are missing!!!! Arggghh!!! I give up... I wished I had more time sometimes. But that's always lame excuse for lazy people and procrastinators. Anyway, no worries, there's still 1 month. I'm sure I can make up for it :)
stop playing pool! it's not gonna work out for you in the end, dummy!!!

For now, let me finish my essay 'coz I have a dinner date at 6.30 p.m. later.
