Tha Sabah Tea Trip ( rewritted words version)

I'm so excited to go to this camp!!!!! Haha, I like out door adventure you see. So...

For starters, evil Jackie lied to us that the bus is leaving school at 8am. I rushed to school with my overloaded luggage to find out that the bus will only leave after 9am. There's hardly more than 10 people when i arrived. The "kind" guard wouldn't allow my mom to drive me in! Pathetic! What a loser... Anyway, I went to the nearby shop to buy more snacks to fill in the time. Then i chat with Cassandra bout our mischeivious childhood at study area. Charlene, ms koo, lzy n the others hang out at IT lab (open at 8am)...

Oh, then our bus finally arrived and we all board the bus. hoho!!! finally!!! i didn't sit in front with charlene or ms koo coz i m scared of my car sickness. i sat beside fui yao. ha she kept interrupting me when i m listening to my mp3 music. and we snacked, snacked and took photo. Nelson then tried to take some shots of us... but oh well, he's kinda noobie i think. it's a wonder why he is our photographer. haha, dun be sad nelson...

Then halfway at nabawan, we stopped to allow some wetty-pants to use the toilet. there's a 15m tall observatory tower there, so we spend the waiting time taking photos. haha, i even threatened to throw ms.koo off the tower. but oh well, she's still alive n healthy... oh ya, eddie the bodyguard came around to ask us bout our roommates. ms.koo n charlene at the front have grabbed me as their 3rd n last roommate. in the end, fui yao will have to sleep with ms. joanna n another girl called gloria. poor girl...

then it's more music and snacks!!! thank god when i thought my eardrums were going to explode, we have arrived at sabah tea. you know, it's kinda rural in the district of Ranau. ha! u wouldn't know where we were even if you are equipped with GPS! I'm just joking... Anyway after dropping our luggages in our "long house" room(very nice, comfortable room, it's not like those popping in your head), we went for our lunch at the sabah tea restaurant. there's 3 tables. 1 for committee, 2 for the non-committee. food was served and everyone just ate like hungry wolves!!!!

Hmmmmm, i rili like the chinese tea!!! it smells like jasmine tea. wow i rili like the cauliflower with assorted vegetables!!! cauliflower is my fav vege!!! yummy, but i kinda shy to empty the whole tray of it. haha coz 3 guys r sitting in my table. we chat while eating. my table gang nearly drain thw whole small pot of chilli.

after that, we went to a small cultural hall (attap roof, no doors, made of wood, simen floor) to play some ice-breaking games. the first one is the silly one. 8-10ppl r supposed stand in a small circle to close ur eyes n reach for the hand of your opposite person with ur left hand. then ur right hand reach for anyone's. and the u must hold tight and try to undo the "loops" until everyone is not tangled up. we played for 2 times. the 2nd one is throw ur left shoe away to the opposite side and when they count to ten, grab any shoe available. i grabbed a big guy's shoe and this guy happened to be clive... we are supposed to match and tie our shoes to be like a catapillar. and then we have to held hands to walk around. lols in one of my 1st game, i also happened to hold his hand.

the last game is "body part musical chair". it's same like musical chairs but when the music stopped u r supposed to touch the chair with the named body part. so imagine everyone touching the chair with their noses and cheeks. lols!!! then, it's group dividing and self introduction. i'm in the same team with charlene. lzy, ms koo, fui yao n clive r a team. then it's shower time. the bathroom is rili nice n equipped with heater.

then it's bbq time. the food is delicious but i wonder why they cooked the rice. so weird to eat rice in a bbq. ther's bbq chicken wings, sausages n vegetables (green pepper n eggplant). yummy i like the bbq vegetables... haha... there's wild dogs around, so we took a kindness and feed them the remains of the chicken bones...

then... we played games ( after 9 pm i think). we played " german shepherd wolf game". it's kinda like mafia. we sit on chairs in a big circle but not very close to each other. mr. chong jenq then distribute the UNO cards to see our role. i got a blue UNO card.

blue=normal villagers. wild draw four= wolf ( there's only 4 wolf per game. they kill everyone but themselves but they will try to kill the seeker and bodyguard to win the game.). red draw two=bodyguard (only one. they have to select the person to protect while everyone close thier eye/go to sleep). yellow draw two=seeker (only one. they choose only 1 person to know whether he/she is a wolf while everyone is a sleep) only when both the seeker and bodyguard are dead, the wolfs win the game...

then chong jenq will tell us to go to sleep (close our eyes). then he called the wolf to select a person to be killed. then the boduguard to protect a person that may be the seeker or himself or anybody else. but he might protect the wolf might mistake. the protected person is exempted from death for one time. the seeker is then called to choose a person he wants to know is a werewolf or not. then jenq will either say: it's a sad night (means sum1 was killed and have to leave the game) or it's a happy night (means the bodyguard has successfully protect the person the werewolves decided to kill). then we are allowed to open our eyes. everyone will try to figure out who are the werewolves and have a vote to see who is the werewolf and kick them out to save all the villagers.

the seeker and bodyguard will have to try to convince us that the person they suspect is a wolf n get us to vote them in order to eliminate them. but in doing this, they risk revealing their identities and the wolves might kill them in the next turn. the werewolves can also attempt to convince the villagers that he is not a werewolf but a seeker/bodyguard or just a normal villager.

haha charlene, ms koo n lzy are both kicked out but no one manage to vote me out, short of votes everytime. b'coz they(villagers) yet the way they acted and spoke made everyone feel that they're werewolves. lols. but ms koo n lzy did play wolf once as we played this game two times.

then it's sleep time. poor me... insommia... couldn't sleep. i only sleep from 2.30am to 4.30am. ms koo n charlene sleep so early, at 12am... i kinda regret to b their roommates.

the next day, we have morning exercise and have to jog one round near our long house. lols most of the guys r rili not fit.... then it's breakfast time. ha! we sit n have breakfast with ms. joanna. actually i just throw my plate at the table i want to sit n went to make myself a sandwich. when i sit down with charlene, ms joanna come n join us. lols just 3 of us at one table. i dun wan to change seats coz it will look like i dun wan to be there. i dun wan her to tink like dat. and when i glance at ms koo, evil ms koo just laughed. lols.

then it's our main event: the amazing race!!! each group was given a different clue so they don't bump to each other at a specific task. our first clue leads us to pheobe. she ask each of us to take turns to act so other can guess what vegetable/fruits is it. haha... then we choose four diff vege/fruits. we had celery, bitter ground, lemon n tomato(i think) for our drink. ha! they all drain their juices at once n have to wait for me. i turn around n gulp down my first mouthful of the juice and when i turn back, my teammates have all finished and stared at me!!!! would believe it!!! it's not rili that bad!!! one of the group later i was told had spinach and onions in theirs!!!! yuck!!!!

then pheobe ask us to figure her b'day date. as if we r gonna buy her a present!!! she gave us 3 trials and our 1st was wrong. we were so worried!!! so i made a phone call to my fren from s3 ren and he told me it was 7th december. ha!!! we were correct and given the next clue!!!! yippee!!!!

then it's jackie's station at the restaurant (about 400m away) which we have to walk a small hill to. we were told to make a erupting volcano. u know those that they always exhibit at science fair. but ours went wrong so we only got 2 pts. then jackie ask us to cut a coca cola bottle to his requests. we failed this task. and there's another twist to this story, but i dun wan to talk bout it here.

next, our clue leads us to nelson's up,up and away station, about 800m up a hill. omg!!! so far away... and the path is those lousy stone and rock road. n the blazing sun!!! arggghhh!!!! we kept running but have to stop once in a while. when we gt there, nelson ask whether we are tired or not, me,rachel n charlene said no which was a lie, jovian n soon hong said yes. those who said no have to run another 5 rounds around the huge volleyball court. those who are tired only have to run 2 rounds. crap!!!!

then nelson challenged us to compete with him with our paper plane for the longest air borne time. he made a plane that stay air borne for almost 5 secs. so smug his face!!! our 1st trial was terrible. then on our 2nd and last trial, we beat the proud nelson. muhaha!!!! no la, actually when nelson flew his plane, a wind sort of help us by blowing it to the ground. so his plane had 4 secs of flying time. ours was 4.6 secs!!! haha!!! u should see nelson's face. like a prickled balloon!!!! reluctanly he give us our score and our next clue. hoho!!! but he only give us half of the full mark, which is 5.

next it's another 1 km race down the hill to the restaurant to brain teasers. we win the game without requiring any hints except a few the committe willing to drop to help us out a bit. poor lzy... his group couldn't break one of the 3 teasers n had to ask for hints. as a result, the committee painted his face with black water colour!!!! some of them had cats whisker and pimples, moustaches and beard (even girls) lols!!!!

haha then it's our last challenge: fear factor at the cultural hall near our long house about 400m away. avan told us that we have to take out 5 clorets sweet in a big salad bowl with and egg and distilled water in it, using our mouths only. jovian, our big head group leader couldn't stuff his big head in the bowl. he took like 3 mins b4 charlene pushed him aside and had her go. she succeeded at her 2nd attempt. seriously dude, gotta work on your your skills...i was the fastest. i just "vacummed" the liquid n a sweet popped in to my mouth at my 1st attempt. haha!!! then chong jenq, another host, ask us to eat a sagu worm. we bbq ours n eat it... yuck!!! mine is burnt n tasted like a dry non-chewy chewing gum. charlene insisted it taste like chicken. ya right...

then we were dashing to our pit stop: a bungalow near nelson's station. so we actually have to run the 400m steep hill again!!!! argghh!!!! we won 1st place!!!! haha!!! but the ysc very pokai, didn't give us any prize...

after that, we went to restaurant to have our lunch. everyone was rili tired after the whole morning mad dash.... hahahaha... everyone was like pulling long faces. after resting for bout an hour, it's CSI time. we have to figure who stole avan's rm100. we interrogate ppl we suspect(the committee n advisors only). we can only interview 6 out of the 14 committee and only allowd 3 question per person, so we have to be careful with our choices. nelson the committee kept glueing us when we interview ppl but i shooed him away. actually he is trying to help us by eavesdropping our question. do i feel bad???? i think i m , a bit...

we got the correct person (jackie) but our sequence was kinda wrong n we never rili know that the stutter of jackie was actually b'coz he's tired. but he had blue ink on his hand (the clue we took was a letter written by the thief), so we know it's him. haha, actually our team was the only one noticed his blue ink printed hand. we wrote our suspect and reasons and hand to nelson.

then it's bathing and dinner time. then we watch a cultural show performed by locals at cultural hall. haha the host invited some unlucky IS n other outsiders (malay guys) to dance. the malay dance, the bamboo dance n sumasau. pheobe and fui yao was like dancing with the crocodiles' mouths in the sumasau... the bamboo dance = crocodile dance. haha!!! so funny!!! me, ms koo, lzy, nelson, fui yao n jackie played the kadazan gong (the last event).

much to everyone's anticipation, we played the wolf game again...

hey i m rili geng. during the 1st round, i managed to guess 2 out of the four wolves. at the beginning i asked my neighbours (lzy, ms koo n nelson) to eliminate whom i suspect. jamie, opposite of me, stared hard at me to try n convince me she is not the wolf but i knew she is bcoz of my intuition. ms koo was killed after she vote agnes, so i knew agnes was the wolf, so i asked my remaining neighbours to vote agnes out. haha!!! she's out!!! but the last wolf (actually sitting beside me the whole time) was hard to figured out. but with only about 5 villagers remained. i caught charlene's eyes and we all voted the real wolf out and we won!!! score!!!!

the 2nd game, i was so surprised that i got the wolf card coz of all the previous 4 games i was a villager. then on our 1st kill, we cnt decide. then i spot chloe adjusting her glasses with her eyes closed, so i smiled at my other wolf associates gleefully to kill chloe. they agreed!!! ha! she was killed!!! and actually she is the bodyguard!!!! didn't even get her turn yet and was killed by me!!! too bad chloe.... bye bye...

then charlene (wolf) was voted out coz she dun know how to act. one by one the remaining wolf was voted out. and i was tha last lone wolf. i got a bit panicked n killed the wrong person, eddie, the seeier ( see wheteher the person kill is a werewolf or not). it was chicky the seeker i m supposed to kill. killing eddie didn't make me win the game. haiz i should have believe my intuition that chicky was the seeker. i dun know why but when i look at her, she cnt look straight to my eyes.

i was voted out in the end, but only 3 votes on me. every1 else gt one. so i m not bad actually. my first wolf role, waddaya expect????

then it's sleep time. sleepless night....

the next morning, we had breakfast. renee (the judge for amazing race) promised to get sum1 to feed me and get me a limo ride ( i guess they could afford that as my prize) but oh well... She made me a tuna sandwich!!! haha!!! fancy a committe member make you a sandwich!!! must be my lucky day. too bad she didn't feed me though... before that, i played UNO with ms koo in our room. i won at first but i so happy that i tell her my secrets and hold and behold she started winning. crap!!! shouldn't have done dat...

then we packed n went to Poring. ms koo, lzy, me, charlene, jackie, nelson n ah lam went to the canopy walk. so tired climb up the hill but nice when we reached the suspended bridge. wow!!! so pretty. we took photos at there. nelson is a rili heavy guy, the whole bridge gain back it's original height after nelson stepped off the bridge.... lols... dun laugh...

we went to fairy garden restaurant near kinabalu park to have lunch (3pm). wow!!! again my fav vege, caulliflower.... very delicious i dun knw why. nelson rili know how to order... haha.... my fave vege... thank you nelson!!!! muhaha.... dun worry, i wrote lots of good stuff in your survey form....

and then it's more music listening and we reached school at about 5 pm. so sad.... sob...
