Before you read this post, perhaps you should switch on some nice-listening kinda music to get into the mood...
Let's see, your possible options are as follow:
1. Bye Bye (remix) by Mariah Carey feat. Jay Z
2. Because Of You by Ne-Yo
3. Famous Last Words by My Chemical Romance
4. Turn Your Car Around by Lee Ryan
5. I'll Be Loving You A Long Time by Mariah Carey feat. T.I.
6. I Miss You by Blink 182
7. No Goodbyes by The Subways
As I was saying, time has the uncanny ability to aviate when you're enjoying something. Before you even realise it, tomorrow will be our graduation ceremony, my fellow IS mates. It's kinda downcast and sombrous if you ask me...
Remember our first day where we were all confused with the mayhem that erupted in study area with all the so-called "babysitters"? How we would wonder when the heck are we gonna be dismissed in LT on our first week where the Student Council and EB members ceaselessly shove all sorts of information into our lost minds? Information overloaded if you ask me!
The orientaion night arrives so fast that we werent even fully-prepared. Some of our group members get to show off some awesome acting chops. The so-called occupation hazards drama... Lols!
Then there’s the traditional sports meet that STTSS always put up every year. Haha! I remembered some of us run like mad in the track events while the others ram outside of the school compound to lease the time out. And all the silly Didi and Gigi stuffs (our yellow house cheer), haha! Too bad we got the last place overall though...
Election Day was followed closely after that, when Intensive Science don’t even care who they cast their ‘precious” votes for! Lols! Soon it was the progressive test, where we truly get the shock of our life! My god, our Physics and Chemistry that we used to have so much pride of in secondary school flushed down the toilet just like that. And Mdm. Emily can’t stop reminding us that the diligent efforts that our ex-IS paid off for their superb result. I guess none of us really bother too much at that time, in fact throughout the year anyways :P
And the Moral Education and English class that we all loathed. With all the silly assignments. The field trips where we have to go to places we never knew existed in KK and interview all sorts of people! The speech about our future occupation, the summary writing where the outstation students jammed the poor printer in IT lab down due to last-minute cramming. And how we have to film our commercial products, present in awkward looking yet formal clothes. We have to crack our head open to borrow, trade and steal blazers, suits and blouse from our associates. Lols! Still remember how the whole class dozed off when I talked about the history and objectives of Institut Sinaran... And everyone laugh like idiots when we watch the Brands Chicken Essence and Nescafe commercial. Wakaka!
Then, our group changed to room 301 after a short mid-term holiday. That result in most of us is out of breath by the time we rush up the stairs after recess! Mr. Adam Pau became our Maths teacher after March. Mdm. Emily starts her "Love Chemistry Everyday" campaign. She asks us to come on 7.30 a.m. on Monday and Wednesday for her Chemistry lessons, much to our frustration. She never fails to remind Lim Zheng Yi and Edmund to come early. Lols!
Some of us went to YSC camp in May and had a blast of fun. Where we dash like idiots in Amazing Race, crack our tired head open to figure who stole Avan’s RM 100 and dying to play The German Shepherd Mafia whenever there’s an opportunity. The poor community always ended up being slaughted even though they’re not the wolfs. Wakaka! In fact all the IS participants played the werewolf part at least once come to think of it, maybe except Pheobe (correct me if I'm wrong, Pheobe).
How we laugh our heads off when Mdm. Emily told us we can go back to our beloved LH 2 after 1 months of torturing stair-climbing to room 301! Hehe... The person who laughs the last always laughs the best, and we happen to be the last people. Wakaka! And how we always chit-chat in study area before class and after class, instead of doing anything useful....
The IS night arrives with all the people start to bump into each other in shopping malls, in the last-minute surge to find the most jaw-dropping, rock-the-night dress or suit. IS inhabitants should win an award for the most humbly-dressed group. Lols!
The IS open day was chaotic if you inquire me, my dear. Most of us work our ass off on our "priceless" brainchild and explain profusely to fellow visitors on the actual day of exhibition like idiots. Haha! I know I did... Can't imagine I am fearless enough to actually grab my lab mice by the tail!
I presume we were drowned and suffocated by all sorts of test, assignments, labs, extra classes on every possibly probable holiday after that... Days passed by with Zoom!, Flash! and Bye Bye! Then at long last, it was the mock A-Level and consequently, the real incubus A-Level! Haha!
This following part is specially for Biology students:
Haha, remember our abundant Bio extra class? How we always wanted to shout "NO WAY!" when Ms. Joanna announced cheerfully there's an extra class that Saturday. How we always slack when she asked us to try our tutorials, grinning innocently at her when she asked us bout it the next day. The most probable exceptions are Mei San and Irene who always do every homework lecturers ask us to. Haha!
When we would spend golden afternoons, squinting at our plant specimen down on our microscope. All the food tests, microscope drawings, erythrocytes and leucocytes, xylem and phloem, trachea and the amazing disappearing ethanol on silicon gel when we tried the chlorophyll experiment. How we grind and boil the poor pig liver, muscle and kidney greedily with our pestle and mortar when Ms. Joanna said, " Ladies and Gentlemen, the definition of grind is like this... (demonstrating with her own set in front at the same time)". How we squash our helpless germinating bean sprouts when we perpetrate the respiratory quotient experiment. How we always moan why Ms. Koo always see something extraordinary that is virtually invisible to us under her microscope about details of the specimen and ended up using her work as the official reference. How we always ponder when our microscope experiments ever going to halt...
How Ah Liau and CKB always run to IT lab to get the remote for the LCD (is this the equpiment?) during extra classes. Pity them. We always keep quiet since Nelson, Tie and Ding leave us after the 1st semester. Haha! Remember what Mdm. Emily told us? According to her, Ms. Joanna said that her Bio class is scaringly quiet and Mr. Chia argued that his class is full of rubbish king and rubbish talks...
And how our hands almost fracture in 100 pieces when we copied the plentiful tutorials answers on the projector (serves us right for not attempting it ourselves)... And occasionally we might pack our bags and scramble to the lab during extra classes... We are always so obedient... Wakaka!

Haha, the idiotic memories of mine... Retrospecting the good times we've been together, I just realised that my time in Institut Sinaran seems kinda short...

'We always keep quiet since Nelson, Tie and Ding leave us after the 1st semester. Haha!' lol... looks lik we three swordsmen r d source of noise in d class a. i think those techers were surely overjoyed when we decide to leave is after d first sem. haha.
ms joanna was not overjoyed after u guys left i think b'coz she needed u three to answer all the questions, otherwise the whole class will have an eerie silence before either CKB, charlene, ah liau or me trying to answer her ;)
