Ouch!
What started out as a normal dinner preparation went disastrously topsy turny when the fork that I'm using it as a can ring opener lever slipped off my hands and went pokey into my index finger nail, straight in like 1.5 mm. Yikes! Take that! For not paying attention and daydreaming in the kitchen. Geez, even kitchen cutlery could be deadly nowadays...
It went bleeding and dripping droplets of blood on the kitchen counter for 4 minutes before finally Bleeding Blood subsided. I bandaged my poor finger after dinner and thought could finish completing my env sci notes. Not only did all my pens ran out of ink (they must be on a protest or there's some kind of conspiracy going on with them), god forbids me from writing 'coz it was hurting like hell. it's like someone stuck a vigorously burning cigarette butt on you finger's sensitive site. And it was on my writing hand. Oh well, just flip sides (the best part of being ambidextrous) and i ended up writing some not very legible notes with my left hand. Geez, writing sure was much slower... Zzz...
Anyway, soon I was playing Spoons with my flatmates and had a blast. It was a bit confusing at first though. I had to use my lefty to make a grab for the cards. Now why would a good girl like me be playing cards? 'Coz Thursday lectures starts at 11.30 a.m. and ends at 2.30 p.m. for me with a 1 hour break in between :) Dat's why. Hmm... maybe I shud start to like Thursday as well? Nah, i'll just stick with Monday. Yup, no lectures whatsoever on next Monday :)
